National Association of Citizens Information Services in Ireland (NACIS)Name of representative in CAI: Noirin Farren NACIS is a network of 42 Citizens Information Centres located throughout Ireland. All centres share the same ethos of empowering people by providing free, independent and confidential information, advice and advocacy services by personal contact, phone, e-mail and text to all persons in Ireland on their social and civic rights and entitlements. The Centres deal with approx. 350.000 individual enquiries each year. Based on information gathered form their clients Citizens Information Centres carry out also advocacy work with government departments and agencies.
